The nominations are in! JBooks.com readers nominated over 115 unique works of Jewish fiction from the past decade to be reviewed by our judges for the 2006 JBooks.com People’s Choice Award. Our panel of judges: Sanford Pinsker, Rebecca Phillips, and Judy Bolton-Fasman chose what they believe to be the best six choices. There were so many great nominations—the final selection is sure to be a challenge!

The Koret International Jewish Book Awards wants you. That is, we want you, and other readers like yourself, to participate in the voting process. Consider yourself cordially invited to join the JBooks.com People’s Choice Award voting committee. By voting you are eligible to be entered to win one of 8 Amazon Shopping Spree Gift Cards ranging in value from $25-$250.

The author of the winning volume will receive $5,000 and will be honored at the Koret International Jewish Book Award prize ceremony on November 15, 2006 in San Francisco.
